Session Winter Workshop III (W3)
Geometry, Evolution and Learning in Games - GEL 2016

January 4 - 8, 2016 (Luchon Superbagneres)

Winter Workshop Organizers:
Yannick Viossat (Universite Paris-Dauphine) and Panayotis Mertikopoulos (CNRS - Inria)
Organizers web page: (link)

Scope: Game theory studies strategic interactions between different agents - such as firms, humans, animals, or machines, with applications in economics, biology, and increasingly in computer sciences. This workshop aims at bringing together top-scholars of the field to discuss recent progresses on the theory's geometric aspects, in particular to characterize equilibria in both static and dynamics games, to model the evolution of behavior of agents adapting to their environment through rules of thumb, and to study learning methods such as no-regret dynamics.
